The ladies of IMRI took part in the 11th Annual Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach Girls Night Out fundraising event in which 100% of the funds raised go directly to support the club’s youth development programs. The programs are designed to promote positive, healthy behaviors, academic achievement, character, and leadership for children, teens, and families with Laguna and surrounding communities. For over 65 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach has been the largest provider of youth development programs in the local area. IMRI is proud to support this great institution and its cause.

On April 24th, over 100 women attended part one of the Orange County United Way’s 2019 Local, Global & Me series featuring an introduction on mindfulness. IMRI President & CEO Martha Daniel led the Q&A and shared insight about mindfulness from her personal background to inspire women of the Orange County, CA to practice mindfulness in their daily lives and to become a force multiplier in the advancement of the common good.

Martha Daniel, IMRI CEO and President, continues to be a leader within the community. Her support enabled the Booker T. Washington High School Lady Warriors Basketball Team of Memphis, Tennessee to travel to New Orleans, Louisiana to participate in the Sister Mary D. Williams Thanksgiving Tournament. The team visited several college campuses and met with the University of New Orleans women’s basketball practice. Lady Warriors Head Coach Steven T. McKinney writes:
